For this optic rail to work, your rifle must satisfy the following 2 criteria:
(1) Compatible models such as:
Savage 10, Savage 11, Savage 12, Savage 14, Savage 16
OR New model Savage 110 with Accu-Trigger
OR Newer Savage Arms Accu-Trigger models that have a rounded top receiver surface AND a short action ejection port.
AND (2) Uses short action cartridges such as:
223 Remington/243 Winchester/308 Winchester/6.5 Creedmoor
